Imagine my surprise when a major local employer, which does have on-site showers, nonetheless does not provide them for use by bicycle commuters. (Well, they “provide” them — at a charge of several hundred dollars per year, bundled along with gym facilities etc. which many bicycle commuters probably don’t want since we get our exercise while commuting.) Employer is a major Boston organization. Employer links to the parkandpedal.org site and is even quoted in some Park and Pedal press releases. Feels a bit inconsistent for organization to endorse P&P in the press releases but not follow through on the benefits.
